I’ve dropped hints.
Shared glimpses behind the scenes.
Talked about the conversations taking shape and the women joining me for them.
But now I finally get to say it out loud:

The Catherine Tuton Show launches October 26.
A show about the moments that shape us.
The choices that change us.
And the stories women carry behind the lives everyone else can see.
This show has been evolving for some time.
So have I.
And since I’m committed to making room for the whole story — becoming out loud, unapologetically — I decided to put my own name behind that promise.
The Name Changed Because the Vision Grew
Names matter.
They tell people what belongs inside.
And the more conversations I recorded, the more honest I wanted to be about my own reinvention.
The Catherine Tuton Show gives space for that honesty.
But of course, this show is about giving the microphone to the women sitting across from me.
The lives they’ve built.
The chapters they didn’t choose.
The decisions no one applauded because no one else knew how much courage they required.
The truths they can finally see now that they’ve lived long enough to earn that perspective.
And putting my name on the show is my promise to show up fully for each one.
I Want the Part Excluded From the Polished Script
We hear plenty about the accomplishment.
The company she built.
The title she earned.
The risk that paid off.
The reinvention that looks beautifully inevitable in hindsight.
But I’m interested in what happened before the story became easy to tell.
The doubt.
The detour.
The door that closed.
The private moment when she nearly gave up — or realized she couldn’t keep living the way she had been.
I want to know what the announcement left out.
What the photograph couldn’t show.
What it cost her.
What it taught her.
And who she became along the way.

Those are the inspiring women’s stories I want to hear.
Not because every difficult chapter needs to become a tidy lesson (please no).
But because another woman’s honesty can give us language for something we’ve been living without knowing how to name.

My Own Reinvention Changed the Way I Listen
After my heart attack at 45, I became less interested in advice that sounded good and more interested in truths that had been lived.
Life can change in a moment.
But understanding how it changed you?
That takes time.
It takes distance.
It takes the courage to look back at the woman you were and tell the truth about what no longer fits.
My own reinvention isn’t giving me all the answers.
What it’s giving me is a deeper respect for the question that’s harder to voice.
What did this ask me to reconsider?
What became impossible to ignore?
What do I choose once I know I can’t go back unchanged?
That’s what makes this a midlife pivot and reinvention podcast.
Not a collection of formulas for becoming someone new…
But a series of real conversations that shed light on who you already are.
I’m Not Here to Interview a Résumé
As a host, I’ll always come prepared.
But I don’t want these conversations to feel rehearsed.
I want to listen closely enough to recognize when the real story is living inside an unprompted comment.
To ask the follow-up question.
To stay with the uncomfortable pause instead of rushing to fill it.
To make room for wit, contradiction, tenderness, and the kind of laughter that usually arrives right after someone admits something rebelliously true.
You’ll hear women speak about the moments that tested them.
The choices that defined what came next.
The parts of their stories they understand differently now.
And yes, the occasional thing they probably weren’t planning to say out loud.

Because the best guests don’t simply give us someone to admire.
They help us recognize something in ourselves.

This Is a Show for Those Who Are Still Becoming
You don’t have to be standing in the middle of a dramatic reinvention to belong here.
Maybe your life has already changed.
Maybe you know it needs to.
Or maybe everything looks fine from the outside, but a quieter part of you keeps asking:
Is this still the life I want?
This women’s podcast is for that woman.
The one who’s accomplished and still curious.
Grateful and still growing.
Proud of what she’s built without believing she has to remain exactly who she was when she built it.
The woman who knows her story isn’t over simply because she’s reached an age when the world expects her to have everything figured out.
I certainly don’t.
And I’ve never been more interested in what comes next.
The Conversation Begins October 26
The Catherine Tuton Show officially launches October 26, 2026.
Soon, I’ll introduce you to the women joining me this season and share more about the conversations we’re bringing into the open.
For now, come ready.
Ready for truth.
For perspectives on midlife, aging, reinvention, health, and so much more.
For the complicated middle between what happened and what happens next.
Because none of us becomes who we are without living through a few things we never saw coming.
And sometimes hearing another woman tell the truth about her pivotal moment gives us the courage to face our own.
Join The UNproper Community to receive launch updates, guest announcements, and the first invitation to listen.
We’re just getting started.
